USDvest

Pre-launch. Private beta in India, early 2027.

Save in US dollars. Earn Treasury yield.

Deposit rupees, hold dollars, and earn interest from US Treasuries. As simple as opening a fixed deposit.

No spam. We'll only email you about the launch.

The problem

The rupee keeps losing value.

From 23 Oct 2025 to 23 Oct 2026, the rupee fell about 7.5% against the US dollar. Savings kept in rupees quietly lost buying power for anything priced in dollars.

Saving in dollars could help, but today it means a foreign brokerage account, remittance paperwork, picking bond ETFs and tricky tax filing. So most people never do it.

Before fees, conversion costs and taxes. If the rupee had strengthened, the dollar option would have done worse.

How it works

Four simple steps.

Here is how USDvest is designed to work when it launches.

  1. 1

    Deposit rupees

Add money from your Indian account through a simple, RBI-compliant remittance flow.

  2. 2

    Hold US dollars

Your rupees are converted to US dollars and held as dollars.

  3. 3

    Earn Treasury yield

Your dollars are invested in short-term US Treasuries, backed by the US government.

  4. 4

    Track and withdraw

See your balance in both USD and INR. Withdraw whenever you like.

You never need to deal with a foreign brokerage yourself.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Is USDvest live?

Not yet. We're pre-launch and planning a private beta for waitlist members in India in early 2027. Join the waitlist and we'll email you when it opens.

Is it legal for Indians?

We plan to operate within the Reserve Bank of India's Liberalised Remittance Scheme (LRS), which lets resident Indians send money abroad for investment, up to an annual limit.

What are the risks?

Currencies move both ways. If the rupee strengthens against the dollar, your savings would be worth fewer rupees. Treasury yields also change over time. Returns are not guaranteed.

Do I need to understand investing?

No. If you can open a fixed deposit, you can use USDvest. We handle the conversion and the Treasury investing for you.
